2015: Battled injury all season … played in 11 games with 11 starts … key player in a defense that allowed just 18 goals… 2014: First Team All-ASC selection … anchored a defense that allowed just 15 goals and shutout seven opponents … played in 14 games with two shots. 2013: Honorable Mention All-ASC … played in 17 games with 10 starts … anchored a defense that allowed just 18 goals for a .99 goals against average … recorded one assist and five shots.
Charis is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB and plans to teach and coach after graduation. Charis was a three-time all-district soccer player at A&M Consolidated High School, where she was named MVP her senior year. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, National German Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars. Charis played club soccer for Dallas Texans Aggieland Girls. She is also a University Ambassador and the daughter of Roy and Cindy Brantley.
