2015-16: ASC All-Academic Honor Roll … played in 26 games … totaled 118 points … ranked second on the team with 82 assists … added 59 rebounds. 2014-15: Played in 23 contests … ranked third on the team with 46 assists … added eight steals and 53 rebounds … shot .391 from the field and totaled 87 points on the season. 2013-14: Played in 26 games … averaged 2.4 points per contest … made 16 field goals and 30 free throws … added 69 assists and 13 steals.
Destini is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB and hopes to become a college basketball coach. She played volleyball and basketball at Pflugerville High School. Destini was an academic all-state selection, all-district honoree and led her team to a State Finalist finish. She was also a member of National Honor Society and PISD Leadership. She is the daughter of Eric and Patricia Oakmon.
