Biography

2018: Missed part of the season due to injury … started in 10 contests … scored game-winner against Louisiana College (Sept. 29) … put six of 10 shots on goal. 2017: Started in all 19 games played … scored three goals including game-winner over East Texas Baptist (Sept. 16) … added two assists … totaled 19 shots with 12 on goal. 2016: Played in all 18 games with starts in the last eight … scored game-winning goal against East Texas Baptist (Oct. 22) … added one more goal against McMurry (Oct. 7) … took 11 shots with five on goal.

Jason is studying business management at UMHB. He played soccer for Texas Home School where he was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 and helped his team to a 2015 state semifinalist finish. Jason also participated in Policy Debate, Open Interpretation, Illustrated Oratory and Persuasion. He is the son of Jim and Katie Halvorson.
