2017: D3 Soccer.com All-American … United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America … USC First Team All-West Region … ASC Defensive Player of the Year … First Team All-ASC … ASC All-Tournament Team … anchored a Cru defense that recorded 10 shutouts and held opponents to an 0.66 goals-against average … scored four goals and added a pair of assists ... recorded game-winning goals against Schreiner (Sept. 9) and UT Dallas (Oct. 7). 2016: First Team All-West Region … First Team All-ASC … started in all 18 games … scored one goal against McMurry (Oct. 7) … leader of Crusader defense that recorded seven shutouts and limited opponents to an 0.93 goals-against average.  2015: ASC Defensive Freshman of the Year … Second Team All-ASC … started in 15 contests with 1,289 minutes played … played a key role in a defense that set a new UMHB Division III record for fewest goals allowed (11) and goals-against average (0.66) … added game-winning assist against Ozarks (Oct. 31) … totaled 10 shots on the season.

Caleb is studying business management at UMHB. He played soccer and football at East View High School, where he was a state finalist, three-time all-district selection, District MVP and All-American nominee. Caleb was also a first-team all-state athlete and earned academic all-district two times. He is the son of Mike and Christine Vandergriff.
