2018: ASC West Division Newcomer of the Year … All-ASC Team … ASC First Team All-West … played in 25 matches before suffering an injury … led the Cru with 800 assists for an 8.89 assists per set average … added 83 kills … put up 42 total blocks and added 226 digs … recorded season-high 52 assists against UT Dallas (Sept. 21).

Cory Jo is studying education at UMHB. She was a three-time all-district volleyball player at Manvel High School, where she also served as team captain for two seasons. Cory Jo was also a two-time academic all-district selection and named academic all-state twice. She played two years of collegiate volleyball at Lubbock Christian University where she earned academic awards through the Heartland Conference and was named to the dean’s list five semesters. Cory is the daughter of Kirk and Caren Martin.
