Biography

2018: Second Team All-ASC … Started in all 21 games … anchored UMHB’s midfield with 1,654 minutes played … scored three goals with one assist on the season … totaled 15 shots … ASC All-Tournament team. 2017: Made 14 varsity appearances with one start … played 204 minutes with two shots.

Tyler is a pre-dental major and hopes to become an oral or maxillofacial surgeon. He played four years of varsity soccer, cross country and track at Champion High School. Tyler was an all-state, all-region, three-time all-area and four-time all-district selection in soccer. He was also state qualifier and two-time all-district cross country selection. Tyler was an academic all-state honoree and member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. He is the son of Les and Marion Childs.
