2021: D3football.com Third Team All-Region … Second Team All-ASC … Academic All-ASC selection … started all 15 games at offensive line. 2020c: Academic All-ASC … played in all five contests … made three starts on the offensive line. 2019: Appeared in two games as a reserve offensive lineman. 
 
Matt is a finance major at UMHB. He was an all-district and all-state football player at Vandergrift High School, where he was also a state qualifier in wrestling. Matt was also a member of National Honor Society. He is the son of Drew and Janet Sanders.
