Totaled 121 kills on 300 attacks for a 2.24 kills per set average ... added 58 digs and 38 blocks ... hit a season-high 12 kills against Sul Ross State (March 12) and McMurry (March 20). 2019: All-American Southwest Conference ... First Team All-West Division ...played in 117 sets ... averaged 2.11 kills per set ... added 0.88 blocks per set and 1.15 digs per set ... hit a season-high 15 kills against LeTourneau (Oct.. 19) ... had a season-high 10 digs against Christopher Newport (Sept. 7) and Belhaven (Sept. 28). 2018: Played in 29 matches … hit .261 with 121 kills … averaged 1.48 kills per set … added 50 digs and 56 blocks.
Kayla is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB. She was a three-year volleyball and basketball letter winner at Kingwood High School, where she also participated in HOSA. Kayla was an all-district honoree, academic all-state selection and TGCA All-Star. Kayla also led her club volleyball team to the 2017 Girls’ Junior National Championship.
