2022: Academic All-ASC … ASC Player of the Week (Oct. 18) … played in 91 sets … led UMHB with 407 digs for a 4.47 digs per set average … recorded a season-high 35 digs vs. ETBU (Oct. 14) … led the Cru with 34 service aces … added 54 assists and three kills. 2021: Academic All-ASC selection … Played in all 90 sets as a defensive specialist … totaled 316 digs for a 3.51 digs per set average … added 24 service aces, three kills and 16 assists … recorded a season-high 24 digs vs. Texas Lutheran (Oct. 13) … totaled 18 matches with double-digit dig counts. 

Alyssa is a nursing major at UMHB. She was an all-district and all-Galveston County volleyball player at Clear Springs High School. Alyssa was also a 2020 VYPE Libero Honorable Mention. Alyssa's academic honors include all-district and all-state. She also participated in National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Superintendent Scholar Committee. Alyssa is the daughter of Toby and Pam Christiansen.
