Biography

2023: Academic All-ASC … Played in nine games … totaled eight receptions for 63 yards … scored one touchdown against McMurry (Sept. 23) … added nine kickoff returns for 186 yards and 10 punt returns for 137 yards.  

2022: Academic All-ASC …D3 Football Team of the Week (Oct. 18) … ASC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 17) … set new ASC record with 95-yard punt return at Texas Lutheran … had nine punt returns for 208 yards and a touchdown … added 12 kickoff returns for 230 yards. 

2021: Spent the season developing with the junior varsity program.  

Matthew is a psychology major at UMHB. He participated in basketball, football and track at Woodrow Wilson High School, where he was an all-district and academic all-district selection. Matthew was also a member of Link Crew, Student Council and Football Leadership Program. He is the son of Tamika Jackson.
