2021: Academic All-ASC selection …Went 11-21 passing with one touchdown before moving to safety … won starting job going into NCAA semifinals … totaled 16 tackles with nine solo takedowns and one forced fumble … added five pass breakups … returned eight kicks for 189 yards. 2020c: ASC Sportsman Team of the Year … ASC Academic All-ASC … ASC Player of the Week (Feb. 7) … made three starts with appearances in all five games … rushed for 253 yards on 35 attempts with three touchdowns … passed 29-65 for 287 yards and five touchdowns …  threw for 104 yards and two touchdowns at Belhaven … rushed for 112 yards vs. Southwestern. 2019: Appeared in 12 games as a reserve quarterback ... ran for 268 yards and seven touchdowns ... was 15-22 passing for 139 yards and a score ... ran for 54 yards and three touchdowns at LC ... had a season-high 44 passing yards against ETBU and threw a TD pass at SRSU.   
 
Tommy was an all-district football player at Brownwood High School, where he also earned District Offensive MVP honors. He was also a state qualifier in track and lettered in basketball. Academically, Tommy was an all-district selection. He is studying history at UMHB. Tommy is the son of Brad and Jennifer Bowden.
