2021: Academic All-ASC selection …ASC Special Teams Player of the Week … Set new program record for PATs made in a single game (12) …career PATs made (207) and career field goals made (43) … Played in all 15 games … totaled six field goals and 57 PATs … recorded 122 kickoffs for 7078 yards … made season-long 45-yard field goal against East Texas Baptist (Sept. 11). 2020c: Honorable Mention All-ASC … Academic All-ASC Team … ASC Special Teams Player of the Week (Feb. 28) … kicked two field goals with a 42-yard long … went 15-17 in extra-point kicks.  2019: AP All-America First Team ... D3football.com All-America Third Team and All-South Region First Team ... ASC Special Teams Player of the Year ... Anthony was an all-district and academic all-state football player at Troy High School. He also lettered in basketball, track and powerlifting. Anthony is studying education at UMHB and is the son of Jose and Ana Avila.
