Biography

Ashton is a finance student at UMHB. He was a football, track and basketball athlete at Mildred High School, where he was named District MVP. Ashton was also named THSCA Super Elite Defensive Player of the Year, Padilla Poll All-State, Mildred MVP, State Farm Player of the Week, Mildred Defensive Player of the Year,  Mildred Fighting Heart Award and First Team All-District. Ashton was also an academic all-district and all-state selection. Ashton participated in FCA, National Honor Society, Student Council, FFA, 4-H, Spanish Club, Northside Baptist Church, Student Government, UIL and GT. He is the son of Rueben and Sherry Frye.
