Biography

2023: Spent the season developing with the junior varsity team

Barrett is studying small business and entrepreneurship at UMHB. He participated in football, basketball, golf and track and field at Logos Preparatory Academy, earning 11 total varsity letters. Barrett was a two-time all-district and two-time all-state selection in football. He was also named Most Valuable Player and TAPPS All-Star Team. Barrett also earned all-state honors in track and was named the Logos Prep Male Athlete of the Year. Academically, Barrett collected a trio of academic all-state awards and participated in National Honor Society. He was also a member of Yearbook, SALT Service Group, Young Men’s Service League and a referee for Special Olympics Basketball. Barrett is the son of Jay and Rhonda Zgarba.
