Alex joined the Cru in July 2022. He is a 20-year veteran of the United States Army (Infantry Officer).

Alex played collegiate baseball at LaGrange College, where he was also a team captain. He graduated from LaGrange with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1999. Alex also holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University (2018). 

He and his wife, Frances, have two children, Marena and Oscar.
