Jeremy Harness

Jeremy Harness joined UMHB in March 2022.  He came to UMHB after spending the 2021 season at UNC Charlotte where he coached defensive backs and special teams. Prior to UNC Charlotte, Harness spent three seasons with Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he coached a pair of all-conference receivers in Jaylen Sims and Braxton Kincade.

In his first season with the Cru, Harness coached two all-ASC receivers and one all-region selection.
  
Harness was a four-year letterman at Murray State University, where he totaled 2,326 receiving yards on 204 grabs and 12 touchdowns. He holds the school record for receptions in a game with 19 against Tennessee Tech in 2014. Harness also ranks third in receptions and 100+ yard games and fifth in receiving yards in the MSU record book. He spent two seasons as a student assistant with the Racers after his playing career.
 
A native of Radcliffe, Kentucky, Harness was an all-state football player at John Hardin High School, where he was also named District Player of the Year. He spent two seasons at Central Hardin High School before moving to the collegiate coaching ranks.
 
Harness holds a degree in Health and Physical Education from Murray State University and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State. Harness and his wife, Brooke, have one son, Jett.
