Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Landon Sawyer was promoted to full-time assistant coach for the UMHB football program in January of 2021. He will work primarily with the running backs and will also serve as head coach of the Crusader junior varsity program. Sawyer spent the 2019 season as a graduate assistant coach for the Cru, working with quarterbacks and recruiting. Sawyer was a football letterman as a wide receiver at Texas Tech University. He is a 2019 graduate of Texas Tech with a degree in kinesiology. Sawyer is also working on his Master’s Degree in athletic administration at UMHB.
