Matthew Yzaguirre rejoined UMHB’s coaching staff in June 2023.

Yzaguirre returned to the Cru after a stint as the assistant quarterbacks coach at Stephen F. Austin University. Yzaguirre previously worked with the running backs after spending two seasons on UMHB’s active roster.

He holds a degree in sport management from UMHB.
