Zach joined the football coaching staff in the fall of 2025. He played four years of varsity football at UMHB, collecting a pair of all-conference awards and helping the Cru to a national title in 2021. Zach also earned two academic all-conference awards and graduated from UMHB with a degree in physical education in 2025. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in athletic administration at UMHB.
