Biography

DJ is a business and finance major at UMHB. He participated in football and track and field at Dallas Christian School, where he was a two-time football state champion. DJ was also a two-time all-district and two-time all-state selection. He was also named Defensive Most Valuable Player and DIII Linebacker of the Year. DJ was a three-time first-place medalist in track and field with a pair of second-place finishes. He also placed first in district and regionals with a second and third place finish in state. DJ was also a three-time academic all-state selection and participated in National Honor Society. He is the son of Valenzia Smith.
