2022: Academic All-ASC …Played in nine games … completed 11 passes for 90 yards … threw touchdown pass against Southwestern … added one rush for seven yards. 2021: Academic All-ASC selection …played in six games at backup quarterback … completed one pass for 60 yards at McMurry … added one rush. 2020c: Spent the season developing with the junior varsity program. 

Jackson is a finance major at UMHB. He was a two-time academic all-state football player at Stony Point High School, where he also lettered in basketball. Jackson is the son of Tommy and Carol Tingler.
