Biography

2024: Spent the season developing with the junior varsity team.

James is a business major at UMHB. He competed in football, basketball and track at Vista Ridge High School, where he was named Offensive MVP in football. James was also a two-time Most Improved Player and Defensive MVP in basketball. He won a pair of district championships in both the 110-meter hurdles and high jump. James was also a member of the A/B Honor Roll and an academic all-state selection, along with being in National Honor Society. James is the son of Cris and Melissa Hester.
