Biography

Joel is a mechanical engineering major at UMHB. He was a football, basketball, track and golf athlete at Cherokee High School, where he was also an all-state selection at linebacker, cornerback and spreadback. Joel was also the valedictorian of his class and served as National Honor Society President for three years. He was also a member of FFA. Joel is the son of Israel and Valerie Valdez.
