2021-2019: Spent the season with the junior varsity program. 
 
Jorge is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB. He was an all-district football player at Rowe High School, where he also lettered in swimming, powerlifting and track and field. Jorge was also named Defensive Player of the Year. He is the son of Jose and Ana Barrera.
