Joseph is an engineering major at UMHB. He participated in football and track at Brennan High School, where he was a three-year letter winner. Joseph was a two-time first team all-district selection and a three-time academic all-district honoree. He was a member of the National Honor Society and is the son of Joseph Montez and Lorena Montez.
