Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Joshua is a psychology major at UMHB. He competed in football, basketball and track at Estancia High School, earning ten varsity letters. Joshua was the leading rusher in the state of New Mexico with 2,480 yards. He was also a six-time all-district selection and five-time all-state honoree. Joshua was also named Offensive Player of the Year in football. He was an all-district selection in basketball his senior year and won a state championship in triple jump. Joshua also placed third in the triple jump and pole vault his junior year and second in pole vault and 300 hurdles his senior year. He was also a four-time all-district selection in track. Joshua was an officer in National Honor Society, earned the Scholar-Athlete award and served as Class Salutatorian. He also participated in FFA, BPA, BSA and was active in his church youth group. Joshua is the son of Michael and Renea Calhoon.
