Kohein is studying business at UMHB. He played football and basketball at Grace Preparatory Academy, where he earned multiple all-district honors. Johein was also named Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Player of the Week. He also collected all-state and academic all-state awards. Johein is the son of Shawn and Kristi Jergenson.
