2021: Third-Team All-ASC … Academic All-ASC selection …ASC Player of the Week (Sept. 7) … Set new program record for passing yards with 463 against North Central (Dec. 17) …  Set new record for single-game touchdown passes with six against Linfield (Dec. 4) …Threw five touchdowns in second-half comeback against Hardin-Simmons (Sept. 25) … Tied single-season record for touchdown passes (35) … Threw six 200+ yard games …  Completed 168 passes for 2,682 yards …. threw just two interceptions in 256 attempts … rushed for 351 yards on 88 attempts with 11 touchdowns. 2020c: Second Team All-ASC … ASC All-Academic Team … Two-time ASC Player of the Week … played in all five games with two starts … passed 33-61 for 613 yards and six touchdowns … rushed for 181 yards and six touchdowns … averaged 158.8 yards of offense per contest … totaled six touchdowns vs. Louisiana College … recorded a touchdown in all five contests. 2019: Spent the season with the junior varsity program. 2018: Honorable Mention All-ASC selection as a punter at Howard Payne University ... averaged 40.5 yards per punt and added 61 rushing yards at quarterback. 
 
Kyle was an all-state football and all-region basketball player at Milano High School. He was also a state champion in track and earned multiple all-district honors as a baseball player. Kyle is studying physical education at UMHB. He is the son of Alvie and Wendy King.
