Lamar’s inspirational comeback from what appeared to be a career-ending knee injury will be one of the main stories to watch during the 2015 UMHB season as he looks to regain the form that made him a three-year starter at defensive tackle. 2014: Received a medical hardship waiver after suffering a knee injury on the first offensive play of the Redlands game ... started each of the first two games at defensive tackle ... posted three total tackles in the season opener against Millsaps. 2013: Honorable Mention All-ASC and Academic All-ASC selection ... started all 14 games at defensive tackle ... recorded 46 total tackles and 11 tackles for loss ... added 3.5 sacks and broke up two passes ... had season highs with six tackles in each of the first three playoff games ... had 1.5 sacks against St. John Fisher in the Quarterfinal victory. 2012: Started eight games and appeared in all 14 ... finished with 34 tackles and 3.5 sacks ... posted season-high six tackles in playoff win over Wesley ... had 1.5 sacks against ETBU.
