Biography

2023: Spent the season developing with the junior varsity team

Laynce is studying engineering at UMHB. He participated in football, baseball, powerlifting, golf and track at Tatum High School. Laynce was an all-state, all-East Texas and all-district selection at center. He was also named District Offensive Lineman of the Year and earned academic all-state honors in powerlifting and football. Laynce was also a member of National Honor Society, FCA, Wildlife and Ag Skills Team. He is the son of Michael and Crystal Welch.
