Matt is a two-year starter at linebacker and should once again be one of the unit’s top players this season. 2015: Second Team All-ASC selection ... started all 13 games at linebacker ... posted 76 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss ... also two interceptions and broke up seven other passes ... recorded a career-high 13 tackles in the win over HPU ... added 11 stops against ETBU ... also had 4.5 tackles for loss in that game ... intercepted passes against LC and TLU ... returned a blocked punt eight yards against Belhaven. 2014: Second Team All-ASC selection ... started 10 games and appeared in all 12 at linebacker ... posted 56 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss .. intercepted one pass and broke up five more ... recorded a season-high 11 tackles in the playoff victory over TLU. 2013: Appeared in all 14 games at linebacker ... finished with 21 tackles and a half-tackle for loss ... posted a season-high four stops against HPU.
