Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Riley is a criminal justice major at UMHB with plans to become a Texas Game Warden. He played three years of varsity football and varsity soccer at Rockdale High School. Riley was a five-time all-district selection in football, also earning Offensive Back of the Year. He also earned the Sportsman Award and Co-Utility Player of the Year. Riley also earned District Goalkeeper of the Year, collecting a pair of all-district awards at that position. He holds the Rockdale High School record for most clean sheets and saves and was awarded MVP his senior season. Riley also earned academic all-district and academic all-state awards in both sports and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Hispanic National Honor Society and Astronomy Club. Riley is the son of Greg and Kerry Spears.
