2024: First Team All-ASC … D3Football.com Third Team All-Region … Academic All-ASC… played in 12 games … totaled 42 tackles … tallied 34 solo tackles … added three tackles for loss … had fumble recovery at Linfield (Dec. 7) … added interceptions at UW-Whitewater (Sept. 21) and against Howard Payne (Nov. 16) … added four pass breakups … recorded season-high 11 tackles at East Texas Baptist (Nov. 2). 

Samuel is a supply chain management major at UMHB. He was an all-state cornerback and running back at Aledo High School, where he was also a two-time state champion. Samuel also participated in track and field. He opened his collegiate career at Southwest Baptist University. Samuel is the son of Mark and Juliette Steffe.
