Syris is an exercise and sport science student at UMHB. He was a football, basketball and track and field athlete at Taylor High School, where he was an All-CenTex and first-team all-district selection. Syria opened his collegiate career at University of California - Berkeley. Syris is the son of Sheon and Stacy Corley.
