Colby has been a key reserve in the frontcourt rotation for the Cru in each of his first three seasons. He will compete for a starting job this year and will also be counted on to provide a rebounding presence. 2009-10: Colby appeared in 14 games as a key reserve forward. He averaged 0.3 points and 0.5 rebounds per game. Colby added a pair of steals. He posted a season-high three rebounds in the victory over Trinity and scored two points in two different games. 2008-09: Colby played in 11 games and finished with six rebounds and a steal for the Cru. 2007-08: Colby played in 15 games. He averaged 0.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Colby scored a season-high three points against U.T.-Tyler and he grabbed a season-high six rebounds against TLU. High School: Colby was an All-District basketball player at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy. Personal: Colby is the son of Natalie and Mike Waller. He was born October 26, 1988 and is majoring in business information systems at UMHB.
