Biography

Griffin is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB. He was an all-state basketball player at Boerne High School, where he was named all-region and District MVP three times. Griffin is the son of Kimble and Kari McHone.  

Griffin chose UMHB because he liked the people, campus and facilities. His career goal is to be a basketball coach. Griffin’s favorite food is steak and his favorite movie is the Dark Knight Trilogy. When he isn’t playing basketball, Griffin enjoys hanging out with friends, golfing and gaming. Most people don’t know that Griffin was in theater in high school. Griffin, who goes commonly by Griff, credits his family as having the biggest influence on him as a person and an athlete.
