2012-13: Started in all 33 games … led the ASC in rebounds (221) … tied conference record for rebounds in a game (24 vs. Concordia, Jan. 29) … Scored 12.1 points per contest, totaling 299 on the season … averaged 29.1 minutes per contest. 2011-12: Played in 26 matches with eight starts ... Put up 260 points for a 10.0 game average ... brought down 5.2 rebounds per contest, adding six assists and nine steals. 2010-11: Voted to the ASC West Division All-Freshman Team ... Started one game and played in 25, averaging 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game ... Shot 58 percent from the field ... Scored a season-high 20 points against Howard Payne and reached double figures five times.
 
Kitrick is studying computer information systems at UMHB. He was a three-year basketball letterman at Thurgood Marshall High School, where he was also named first-team all-district. Kitrick was named Honorable Mention All-American, Second Team All-Region and First Team All-ASC West Division last season. He is the son of James Bell and LaQuita Young.

Kitrick chose UMHB because he liked the basketball program. His career goal is to become a computer programmer. Kitrick’s favorite professional sports team is the Los Angeles Lakers and his favorite athletes are Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. He enjoys listening to hip-hop music and watching Adventure Time. Kitrick likes to write poetry when he’s not on the court. He credits his father and Grandma Mackey as having the biggest influence on him as a person and an athlete.
