Marlon made an immediate impact last season, stepping right into the starting line-up at guard. He should once again be one of the team’s top offensive threats this season. 2010-11: Marlon was an Honorable Mention All-West Division selection after leading the Cru in scoring at 14.2 points per game. He also averaged 3.5 rebounds per game and added 46 assists and 24 steals. Marlon scored 20 or more points eight times, with a season-high 27 against Schreiner University. He was also named to the ASC All-Tournament Team. 2009-10: Marlon played in 29 games at Temple College and earned First team All-Conference honors. He averaged a team-best 19.8 points per game and also grabbed 4.7 rebounds per contest for the Leopards. Marlon also added 105 assists and a team-high 77 steals. 2008-09: Marlon played in 28 games for Temple College. He averaged 7.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Marlon added 41 assists and 33 steals. High School: Marlon lettered in basketball and track at Belton High School. Personal: Marlon is the son of Sherlyn Grant. He was born April 13, 1988 and is majoring in exercise and sport science at UMHB.
