2016-17: Played in 14 games for the Cru … totaled 21 points with a season-high 11 at Concordia Texas (Jan. 14) … added 16 rebounds and one assist.

Ryan is a criminal justice major and wants to work for the federal government. He played basketball at John Paul Stevens High School where he was named all-district and helped his team to an Area Finalist finish. Ryan also participated in marching band. He is the son of Ron Newton.
