2023-24: Played in 27 games with 18 starts in his first season with the Cru … totaled 148 rebounds for a 5.5 per game average … added 13 assists, 11 blocks and seven steals … scored 185 points … recorded a season-high 20 points against Concordia Texas. 
 
Ryan is a business management major at UMHB. He was an all-district basketball player at Hallsville High School. Ryan opened his collegiate career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Dallas College North Lake. He is the son of Dominick and Melanie Pondant.
