Ty Goodwin joined the Cru in May 2023.
Goodwin came to UMHB after a six-year stint as Athletic Trainer for Dublin ISD. Goodwin was also a teacher at Dublin and served as Head Tennis Coach.
Goodwin attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he obtained a Master’s of Athletic Training. While attending Texas Tech, Goodwin served as an athletic trainer for Lubbock Sports Medicine and provided services to both Farwell ISD and Lubbock Christian University. Goodwin also worked as an athletic training intern for the Las Vegas Raiders during the 2022 training camp and preseason.
Goodwin received an undergraduate degree in exercise and sport science and athletic training from Howard Payne University, where he was a member of the tennis team. Goodwin and his wife, Ali, were married in June 2018.
