Biography

2021-22: Academic All-ASC … played in 10 games … recorded eight points … added five rebounds and one assist.  

Trace is studying for a master’s in Curriculum & Instruction at UMHB. He participated in football, basketball, baseball, track and tennis at Borden County ISD High School. Trace was a three-time all-state basketball player, three-time all-state track athlete, four-time all-state football player and four-time all-state baseball player. He also collected a pair of state player of the year awards in football and participated in state all-star games in football, basketball and baseball. Trace also participated in FFA, Spanish Club and FCA. He also played collegiate football, basketball, and baseball at Wayland Baptist University. Trace is the son of Trey and Hayley Richey.
