2016: Played in 15 games … scored goals against Texas Lutheran (Sept. 9) and McMurry (Oct. 7) … totaled 13 shots. 2015: Played in eight contests … recorded assists against Louisiana College and Howard Payne … totaled four shots. 2014: Played in five contests as a reserve forward.
 
Amani is studying sport management at UMHB and hopes to become an athletic director. He was a football, soccer and basketball player at Rider High School, where he was an all-state honorable mention selection in football. Amani is the son of Herbert and Linda Colbert.
