2014: Second Team All-ASC … scored four goals and assisted one … ranked second on the team with 36 shots … scored two game-winning goals and converted two penalty kicks. 2013: Honorable Mention All-ASC selection … started in all 16 games … scored goal against Howard Payne (Oct. 5) … added two assists … totaled 18 shots on the year. 2012: Played in 14 games … scored two goals.
 
Ben is studying business administration at UMHB and hopes to have a career in sports. He was an all-district soccer player at Flower Mound High School, where he also received the Fighting Heart Award and was a member of the National Honor Society. Ben is the son of Brian and Pamela Hammonds.
