2017: Spent the season developing on the reserve squad. 2016: Missed the season due to injury.

Corey played basketball and soccer at Our Lady of the Hills High School, where he was named First Team All-District and First Team All-State. Corey was also an academic all-state selection and participated in National Honor Society. Corey is studying physical therapy at UMHB. He is the son of Carl and Lisa Smith.
