2021: Academic All-ASC selection … played in 13 contests as a defensive starter … recorded one shot … contributed 1064 minutes. 

Hunter is a finance major at UMHB. He played soccer at Rouse High School. Hunter previously played collegiate soccer at Marshall University where he was on the 2019 Conference USA Commissioners Honor Roll. He played club soccer in the developmental academy. Hunter is the son of Glenn and Lis Shanks.
