Biography

2024: Academic All-ASC … missed majority of the season with an injury … played in three games. 

2023:  Academic All-ASC … Missed most of the season due to injury. 

2022-21: Academic All-ASC … Spent season developing on the reserve squad.  

Jacob is a math major at UMHB. He played soccer at Timber Creek High School, where he was a three-time all-district selection. Jacob was also a two-time team MVP and won Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named academic all-state and participated in National Honor Society. Jacob is the son of Geoff and Taunja Balkcom.
