Biography

2012: Jake appeared in five games as a reserve defender.

Jake is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB. He was a three-year letterman at Jack C. Hays High School, where he also earned all-region his senior year. Jake is the son of Dave and Gayle Morrison.

Jake chose UMHB because he liked the university as a whole. He hopes to become a soccer coach after graduation. Jake’s favorite television show is Duck Dynasty; he can’t believe he watches One Tree Hill. Jake enjoys hunting, fishing and riding horses away from the soccer field. Jake watches videos of his favorite professional athlete, Clint Dempsey, before every game. He credits his dad and his old soccer coach as having the biggest influences on him as a person and an athlete.
