2016: Second Team All-ASC … played in all 18 games with 17 starts … spent 1,536 minutes in the net for the Cru … recorded an 11-6-1 record with an 0.94 goals-against average … made 43 saves with five solo shutouts. 2015: Honorable Mention All-ASC selection … started in all 16 games for the Cru … helped set a new UMHB Division III-era team record for fewest goals allowed (11) and goals-against average (0.66) … recorded 53 saves in 165 shots faced … recorded seven wins with seven shutouts on the season. 2014: Started in 12 contests … played 954 minutes … made 51 saves and allowed 15 goals for a 1.42 goals against average … recorded a 3-4-2 record in the net … had a season-high eight saves at East Texas Baptist … recorded one solo shutout.
 
Javier is studying exercise physiology and wants to become an academic researcher. He was an all-district and all-academic soccer player at Madison High School, where he also participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Spanish Club. Javier is the son of Andrew and Blanca Zaragoza.
