Biography

2016: Elected to take a year off. 2015: Third Team All-ASC … played in all 16 games … key offensive threat off the bench with three goals and 21 shots. 2014: Second Team All-ASC … played a vital role off the bench for the Cru … saw time in 15 contests … scored four goals and added one assist … Took 17 shots with one penalty kick ... scored game-winning goal against Howard Payne (Oct. 11). 2013: Played in nine games as a reserve midfielder.
 
Julio is rejoining the team after electing to take a year off. He is an exercise and sport science major. Julio was a three-year soccer letterman at Brazoswood High School where he also served as captain and was named MVP and Newcomer of the Year during his career. He is the son of Julio Mar and Elizabeth Castillo.
